The dog warden will be visiting Ripley Green on Friday 24 October to talk to dog walkers about the increase in fouling on Ripley Green.
He intends to carry out a spraying exercise where all dog mess found on the green will be sprayed bright red giving people “pause” for thought.
This will educate everyone as to the size of the problem and he will be following up the day with several enforcement days giving out fixed penalty notices.
No doubt all will be cleared up by the time Ripley Fair and Bonfire are ready to start.
