The Spring 2015 edition covers past events from December 2014 to February 2015 and future ones, primarily those in March, April and May 2015. It contains the usual Parish Council news for Send and Ripley together with articles on the Ripley Bonfire Association Anniversary, Villages Medical Centre, Rotary Club, Christmas Tree Festival, History Society, Down your Wey, Ripley Rocks, Papercourt Sailing Club, Craft & Chat, Solar Eclipse, Send Village Club, the May Elections, SADS, the local Horticultural and Gardening Societies, a Diary of Events for each village, and more.
The History Society are running an exhibition entitled “Seasons and Storms” in the Ripley Museum every Saturday until 30th May 2015. Unfortunately notification of this did not make Issue 89 (Spring 2015) but the flyer is reproduced here.
Errata: the editor wishes to apologise for the following errors:
- The Diary shows the wrong venue for the History Society meeting on 17th March. It is being held in the Talbot Hotel, not the Village Hall as stated.
- In the details of the Easter services at St Mary’s Church, Send, the time of the Good Friday Prayer Service is shown as 2:30 – it is being held at 2pm.
