The new exhibition has a seasonal flavour and is entitled: We plough the fields and scatter. Food, farming and festivals in Send and Ripley. Ripley Bonfire Night is a very large celebration with all of Ripley being taken over by the thousands of people coming to enjoy the float procession, the lighting of the bonfire by the Bonfire Queen and the huge and stunning firework display. This takes place on the last Saturday of October. The floats and fancy dress are judged in the Village Hall Car Park from 6.30pm and at around 7.10pm the procession moves up the High Street to the village…
