Ripley Bonfire

Ripley Bonfire Night is a very large celebration with all of Ripley being taken over by the thousands of people coming to enjoy the float procession, the lighting of the bonfire by the Bonfire Queen and the huge and stunning firework display. This takes place on the last Saturday of October.
The floats and fancy dress are judged in the Village Hall Car Park from 6.30pm and at around 7.10pm the procession moves up the High Street to the village green. The bonfire is lit at about 7:30pm and the firework display starts at 8.00pm. After the bonfire celebrations it is time to visit the funfair, food stalls and bars.
