Exhibition – We plough the fields and scatter.
The new exhibition has a seasonal flavour and is entitled: We plough the fields and scatter. Food, farming and festivals in Send and Ripley. It will run until the end of December between 10 & 12 every Saturday morning or by arrangement with Clare on 01483 728546. We hope we have highlighted a few of the more unusual stories about agriculture in our neighbourhood. Ripley Bonfire Night is a very large celebration with all of Ripley being taken over by the thousands of people coming to enjoy the float procession, the lighting of the bonfire by the Bonfire Queen and the huge and stunning firework display. This takes place on the last Saturday of October.
