Spring – Summer – Autumn – Winter

Ripley & Send

Ripley & Send are villages in Surrey whose history has been bound together over the centuries.

“Ripley & Send Matters” is a community-based free magazine, published quarterly and paid for by local advertising. It is distributed to every house-hold and business in Ripley, Send and Wisley and contains news, details of events organised by the member groups, and stories about the people who live there.

The Summer 2021 issue of the magazine was published on the 28th May and distributed soon after. Articles for the Autumn 2021 issue should be with the editor by the 1st August so it can be published and available on or about the 26th August.

Valerie Jenner, who has editted the magazine for the last 30 years, wishes to retire. Anyone who would like to become the next editor and ensure that the magazine continues to be published should contact Valerie or one of the committee directly or use the contact form on this site.

The 2020 Annual General Meeting of the Ripley & Send Publishing Association was to be held on 15th September. It was decided that in the light of the Coronavirus Covid-19 situation it had to be cancelled. A date for the next AGM is yet to be decided.

Dunsborough Park have been forced to move their Garden Open Days due to April being so cold with almost daily frosts throughout the month. Click here for more.

Errata: It is stated in the magazine that the Ripley Bonfire has been cancelled this year. This is not true – the decision about holding it has not yet been taken. Apologies for any confusion.
